Serious Accident at Hethersett

Norfolk Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a car and a motorcycle. 

It happened on Saturday, October 2nd, at about 4.12pm on the B1172 Norwich Road junction with Colney Lane in Hethersett. 

A blue Vauxhall Omega, was leaving Colney Lane and turning right onto the B1172 when it collided with a red Suzuki Bandit motorcycle. 

The motorcyclist, who is a 39-year-old man, suffered a fractured pelvis and a fractured wrist and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. 

Kristina Raines, spokeswoman for Norwich Police, said: “This would have been a busy time of day and officers would be keen to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or who may have seen either vehicle prior to the accident.”
