Ben's Big Date

Hethersett-based tenor Benjamin Lake has a very important date on New Year’s Day.

Benjamin will be performing with the Norwich Pops orchestra in their annual New Year’s Day concert in St Andrew’s Hall, Norwich.

The annual concert is usually a sell out and will once again feature Viennese favourites including Roses From the South, The Blue Danube, The Gypsy Baron Overture and the Thunder and Lightning Polka.

Benjamin will be continuing the south Norfolk tradition as this year’s concert featured international soprano Elizabeth Watts who comes from Little Melton.

The concert starts at 3 p.m and tickets are priced at £15 and £12 (£14 and £11 for concessions) and are available from Prelude Records in St Giles Street, Norwich
