Park and Ride
The
nearest park and ride to Hethersett is at the Thickthorn Service Area. Buses
leave for Norwich city centre regularly throughout the day. The Park and Ride
runs from 6.40 a.m until 7.30 p.m on Mondays to Saturdays excepting Thursdays
when the last bus leaves the city centre at 8.30 p.m.

are mini re-cycling centres in the car park of the Memorial Playing Field and
in the village hall in Back Lane for glass. In addition householders can pay for a brown
bin which is collected fortnightly by South Norfolk District Council and which
