School Celebrates Exam Success

Pupils and staff at Hethersett Old Hall School are celebrating the best A Level results in ten years.

An amazing 85% of passes were at the top grades of A* – C this year, making them the best results in over ten years and beating the previous top score in 2010 by a clear ten percent!

Over a quarter of passes were at  top A* and A grades.

The School  has also kept up  its tradition of a 100% pass rate in this year’s results.

Head Stephen Crump said: ‘We are delighted with these exceptional results; it gives our students the best options for their higher education choices and reflects the hard work of the girls and the excellence of the teaching we offer here.’

100% of Hethersett Old Hall School applicants have been accepted on a variety of university courses around the country, including A* arts student Fallon Mills-Vingoe who is taking up a place close to home at NUCA in Norwich. Other students are heading west to Aberystwyth University and south to the University of Kent.

For girls wishing to benefit from the all that the school’s sixth form has to offer, the next Sixth Form Open Evening will be held  October 1st.

On offer then will be a tour of our Sixth Form facilities and the opportunity to speak to specialist AS and A-Level subject teachers. To receive further details and join the school's mailing list, please call Mrs Kim Borrer, Registrar on 01603 810390 or email
