Humbleyard Hoofers are a group of walking
enthusiasts who plan strolls round some of the most interesting
parts of Norfolk. The group was started by Barry and Sandra
Butler from the Parish Church. Most walks start with a meet at
the Parish Church at 10 a.m and end with a pub lunch. Below is
the remainder of their programme for 2007. All the walks below
are on a Saturday.
The photograph below was taken on
the January 2009 walk near Poringland. The walk started and
finished at The Dove Pub, Poringland, and was 5.5 miles in
length (at an average speed of 2.5 mph!). Seventeen
people and Jo, the Butlers' dog, enjoyed the frosty views.
