Elephants at Library

Elephants galore were seen  in the February 2013 half term at Hethersett Library. Both adults and children participated. Plastic milk bottles were changed magically into multicoloured elephants with the help of coloured tissue paper and napkins, sequins, buttons and many other decorative items. All of the items used were recycled, part of the ‘Make do and Mend week’.

The workshop was overseen  by Carol, Ann, Tina and Jane, four members of  the weekly Wednesday Art and Craft group.

As part of the library’s promotion of  ‘Join Up January’ Hethersett Library ran a take home quiz about Films and Film stars with the prize being a Blue Ray Player. The winner was Mrs Suzanne Partner who had the highest score.
