Tasty Sessions at Library A number of tasty sessions for computer enthusiasts
are being lined-up for Hethersett Library to help pass the winter months. The library is holding a number of internet taster
sessions. The sessions are free, but those taking part will need to be a
Norfolk Libraries’ member. Unlike
previous sessions these will be non bookable with registration taking place at
10.15 a.m at the beginning of each session. Places are strictly limited but
the booking system has been done away with due to people failing to turn up in
the past. The
first session on Saturday 31st October from 10.30 to 11.30 will
give an introduction to the internet (not including e-mail). On Saturday 21st
November from 1.30 p.m the subject will be using the internet to research
family history. Saturday 28th November from 10.30 a.m until midday
is an introduction to using e-mail and on Saturday 5th December
from 10.30 a.m to noon there will be a session on using the internet auction
site eBay. The
ability to use a mouse and navigate round a computer screen is desirable for
these sessions as the library will be holding further sessions for total
beginners in the New Year. More information on all the sessions is available
on 01603 810188
