The Benefits of Aquafit
A Hethersett weekly aquafit
group has just celebrated its 10th birthday.
Maria’s deep water aquafit
takes place on Monday evenings during term times at Hethersett Old Hall School
from 7.30 to 8.30 p.m. and currently has 14 members.

week. Sometimes we will do running or play games or do relays. Deep water
allows exercise whilst reducing stress on joints and helps with endurance and
strength and buoyancy allows workouts to last longer,” Maria, who is also a
qualified athletics coach and leads the award winning Hethersett Social
Running Club, said.
Over the years Maria’s
aquafit has catered for all ages from 12 to the elderly: “Over the years we
have seen all aspects of life including births and marriages,” Maria
The deep water aquafit club
is following in famous footsteps with legendary British athletes such as Dame
Kelly Holmes and Paula Radcliffe both used it during their careers to improve
