Methodists Raise Money for Gambia A highly successful auction at Hethersett Methodist Church on Saturday, 16th October, raised well over £400 for the church in the Gambia. The auction, which featured over 150 lots ranging from household items, the artworks, books to golf clubs, was part of the church's Looking out programme designed to raise funds for both the Gambia and Myanmar (Burma). Looking began in April and runs until next July and has also included a Pavlova Party and a Gambian Lunch in June. On December 11th there will be a Come and Sing Christmas Messiah and events for next year include a Progressive Supper on 21st May and a garden Party at Wood Hall on 9th July.
