Norfolk League Division One - away to Norwich B Hethersett and Tas Valley could be just two matches away from making a dream come true and three matches away from a league and cup treble. A comfortable eight wicket win over Norwich B gave them another 23 point haul in their battle for the Norfolk League Division One title. Now only Great Melton and Great Witchingham stand in their way. Witchingham are the only side with a realistic chance of snatching the title from Hethersett after taking maximum points from their game against Aldborough on Saturday. Hethersett have clear water between themselves and Witchingham at the top of the division but the two are due to go head to head at Witchingham in the last game of the season. Firstly Hethersett have to concentrate on a difficult home game against locals rivals Melton on Saturday. Victory would go a long way towards winning the championship. Whatever happens Hethersett will know exactly how many points they will have to take in their final match at Witchingham. On Saturday Hethersett bowled first against Norwich B and dropped a vital bowling point against stubborn opposition who held out for a total of 150-9 from their 45 overs. Hethersett made short work of the target, reaching 151-2.
