Hethersett and Tas
Valley Cricket Club celebrated winning the top division of the Norfolk
League and promotion to the third division of the Norfolk Alliance at the
annual Norfolk League dinner and presentation evening.
Numerous first
team players were present to collect the Division One championship trophy.
In addition Robert Mitchell, who plays for Hethersett’s second team, was
named Norfolk League Division Five batsman of the year.
Hethersett will
once again be fielding three adult Saturday teams next year with the
firsts playing Alliance cricket for the first time in the club’s
history.
