August 9th - Home Norwich Union B - Match abandoned due to rain.

August 16th - Hethersett and Tas Valley Thirds now only have a slim hope of promotion from Division 10 after going down to Great Melton C by 63 runs. Great Melton hit 196-8 and then restricted Hethersett to just 133-8. To have any chance of going up the thirds will need to take maximum points from their home game against second placed Garboldsham and then follow this up with a win in their away match against Felthorpe.

August 23rd -

Hethersett and Tas Valley Thirds’ outside chances of promotion from Division 10 were boosted by a good 48 run victory over second placed Garboldisham. Hethersett batted first and were bowled out for 137 in 42 overs with Tom Brandon Street top scoring on 35. In a low scoring game Garboldisham were all out for 89 with John Nash taking 4-19 and Joe Brett 3-17.

Hethersett remain in third place with an average of 16.50 compared with Garboldisham’s 16.61. On Saturday they wrap up their league season with an away game against Felthorpe whilst Garboldisham are home to Norwich Union B.

Hethersett and Tas Valley Thirds slim chances of promotion from Norfolk League Division 10 were ended at the weekend despite a fine two wicket victory over Felthorpe.

Valley did all they could in taking 25 points from the match but then found out that Garboldisham had taken maximum 26 points from their game to pip Hethersett for second place. Felthorpe batted first and were all out for 182, losing their final wicket off the last ball. There were three wickets each for John Emeng and Joe Brett and two for Dale Clarke.

Hethersett reached their target for the loss of eight wickets off 41 overs with Duncan Shearwood top scoring on 42.
