Open Studios

Hethersett artist Jo Cole will be holding her first solo exhibition as part of the Norfolk Open Studios 2008 event.

Jo, who paints under her maiden name of Jocelyn Jacobson, will be opening her home at 32 St David’s Road for three consecutive weekends as part of the county-wide event that this year features 254 of Norfolk’s top artists as part of a celebration of artistic energy, diversity, ambition and achievement.

Jo’s art will be on display to the public on Saturday 17th, Sunday 18th, Monday 19th, Saturday 24th, Sunday 25th, Monday 26th, Saturday 31st May and Sunday 1st June from 10 a.m until 5 p.m each day.

Hailing from Zimbabwe, Jo’s art reflects her African background and her unique acrylic on  board style evokes her memories in a highly colourful way.

Open Studios has a web site at www.nnfestival.org.uk/openstudios and Jo Cole has her own web site at www.jocelynjacobsonartist.co.uk

Hethersett potter Clare Cummins will also be opening her studio at 2 Victory Cottages, Colney Lane to display her ceramics that use a variety of clays and oxides. Clare has a web site at www.clarethepotter.co.uk
