Can You Help?

This is the section where we place questions posed on either our noticeboard or via e-mail. Rather like in the notes and queries section of newspapers, we invite you to help with the answers. So if you have the answers or any information on the following just e-mail it to us by clicking here and we will put it on this page.

I have just purchased a horse racing card painted by Alfred Munnings called "Hethersett Races" Does anybody have any details of the event or is it just artists licence ? - Derek Harrison.

My grandfather, who was born in Antingham and who was a guard on the LNER used to
sing to his family "There was an old woman of Hethersett". I am now a grandfather
and would love to pass on the tradition. Can you tell me how I can obtain the
complete words and/or a cd with the ballad?
