Spooky Goings On at Hethersett Library
There were spooky
goings on at Hethersett Library as over 20 youngsters aged between eight
and 12 enjoyed an evening of spine chilling events. Gruesome grimericks,
amusing epitaphs, scary book covers and ghostly Frankenstein modelling
were just some of the activities undertaken as part of Gothic Norfolk
Month as the youngsters learned about creative writing and other art
forms. Humour was to the
fore as many of the youngsters joined library staff in dressing in black
to study ghostly maps and web sites. Hethersett and Wymondham Libraries will be holding a special stories, rhymes and craft activities event around the Christmas tree for children up to the age of seven. Hethersett Library will be hosting its event on Saturday 15th December between 10.30 and midday and Wymondham Library from 2 p.m to 3.30 p.m. Places can be booked by phoning 01603 810188 for Hethersett and 01953 603319 for Wymondham. Our photograph shows
library staff Jenny Hoult and Rachel Smith entering into the spirit of the
occasion!
