Hethersett win Triangular Tournament

Hethersett and Tas
Valley were the winners of an Under-16 triangular tournament held at
Flordon. The event was
organised by Hethersett club chairman Tony Smith who afterwards heralded
it a success and something
likely to be repeated next season. Teams representing
Great Ellingham, Rocklands and Hethersett and Tas Valley took part with
the home side in unbeatable form. The day was split
into a round robin competition with the teams playing each other in 15
over a side matches with the top two contesting the final. Group results:
Hethersett and Tas Valley 104-6 (Tom Brandon Street 27), beat Great
Ellingham 77-4 by 27 runs. Hethersett and Tas
Valley 71-4 beat Rocklands 70-5 (Spencer Hunt 2-2) by six wikets. Great
Ellingham beat Rocklands. Final –
Hethersett and Tas Valley 126-3 (Tom Brandon Street 38, Alex Bugg 31) beat
