Hethersett and Tas Valley Cricket Club Kimberley 20-20 Cup 2008
Hethersett and Tas Valley
breezed through the first round of the Kimberley 20/20 cup with a massive
101 run victory over Wicklewood. Hethersett won the toss and
decided to bat and hit 150-8 in their 20 overs at well over a run a ball.
Lee King top scored with an unbeaten 35 and Tristan Hunt weighed in with
30. Hethersett’s bowlers were on
form as they humbled Wicklewood to 49 all out in 11.4 overs with only one
batsman reaching double figures. Lee King finished a fine all round match
with 4-12 and there were two wickets each for Geoff Chappell and Phil
Walmsley. Hethersett and Tas Valley beat Wicklewood in the First Round of
